I have extensive experience working in the private and voluntary sectors and in local authority, NHS and higher education.
I receive regular supervision and engage in on-going CPD. I adhere to BPS and BABCP ethical frameworks. I treat information relating to my clients in the strictest confidence, complying with the provisions of the Data Protection Act, and I am registered with the ICO.

My philosophy as a psychologist is to help my clients maximise their potential and have as fulfilling a life as possible.

My practice is holistic and draws from a range of established theoretical approaches. I carefully tailor each intervention to meet the needs and preferences of my clients.
I offer a range of short and long-term psychological interventions to individuals, couples and families. I also offer supervision to other clinicians and researchers and consultancy and research to organisations and communities.

The first session is an initial assessment to explore your current difficulties and discuss how we are going to work together.
All sessions last 50 minutes.
Payment can be made in advance by bank transfer or at the end of each session by cheque or in cash.
The initial assessment fee is £100 for self-funded clients and £120 through insurance. Fees for individual sessions are set on a sliding scale.
Missed and cancelled appointments are chargeable in full, apart from in exceptional circumstances or agreed breaks. If you are unable to attend your appointment, I might be able to offer an alternative appointment on the same week (subject to availability).
